Connect your accounts
Bring your supported accounts and recent financial information into Moolah.
Why this helps
A connection can keep supported balances and transactions more current than manual entry alone. You stay in control of the consent you give.
Before you start
- Have access to the institution’s approval flow.
- Use the current mobile app for this guide.
Start from Cashflow
Open Cashflow. If Set up cashflow is shown, choose Connect bank + track transactions. Other connection entry points may also be available, but this is the canonical starting point for this guide.
Choose the institution and give consent
Search for the institution, select it, then choose Continue. Review the consent request in the secure Basiq flow and approve only the access you are comfortable sharing.
Wait for the accounts to arrive
Return to Moolah and allow the import to finish. Do not begin another connection while the first attempt is still waiting for account data.
Tell Moolah what each account represents
Review every suggested account. Use Type to choose the closest match for what the account represents, rather than relying only on its nickname.
Confirm all accounts
Check that the intended accounts are included and confirm the complete set. Moolah can then use their balances and recent activity in relevant views.
A quick trust check
The connection is intended to retrieve supported financial data. It cannot move money, make payments or change your bank accounts.
You’re finished when…
If the connection does not complete
Use the recovery steps for browser handoff, expired links, waiting states and fresh attempts.
