How Moolah connects to your financial data

Understand the consent flow, read-only access and the control you keep over a connection.

How the connection works

  1. You choose a supported institution in Moolah.
  2. Moolah opens a Basiq connection flow and shows the consent request.
  3. You review the requested access and decide whether to approve it.
  4. Supported account information, balances and transactions can return to Moolah for the product views covered by your consent.

Read-only access

The connection is used to retrieve supported financial data. It cannot:

  • Move money.
  • Make payments.
  • Change your bank accounts.

You stay in control

Only approve the access you are comfortable sharing. Connection management and revocation instructions must follow the controls currently available to your institution and Moolah account; contact support if the required control is not visible.
