Add or change a cashflow item

Keep your future income and spending assumptions realistic.

Update a planned item when its usual amount, frequency or timing has changed.

  1. Choose the category

Open the Cashflow planning view and choose the relevant income, essentials or lifestyle category.

  2. Add or open the item

Add a new item or open the existing item’s recurring details.

  3. Set the normal pattern

Enter the usual amount, frequency and start date. Set an end date only when it should stop. In the mobile app, use Make recurring if a one-month item should now repeat.

  4. Save and check future periods

Save, then look ahead to confirm the item appears where you expect.

You’re finished when…

The item sits in the right category and repeats with the amount and timing you intended.

What if only one month is different?

Change that month’s amount rather than the recurring rule. The normal pattern should remain in the periods around it.

Next: Change just one month if the difference is temporary.
